Terms of Service

These terms cover website design and related services from JQ Digital Consulting ("I," "me") for you, the client. Each project also gets a short written agreement or invoice describing the scope, price and timeline. If anything here conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.

Mockups and quotes

Free mockups and quotes come with no obligation. Mockups are concepts, and the final design is shaped by your feedback.

Payment

• Projects require 50% upfront to begin, with the remaining 50% due when the site is finished and approved, before it goes live.
• Care plans are billed monthly and can be canceled anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
• Third-party costs, like your domain, paid booking tools or premium plugins, are your responsibility unless your agreement says otherwise.

Revisions

Each plan includes the number of revision rounds listed on the pricing page. Additional changes or new features outside the original scope can be quoted separately.

Your content

You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to the text, photos, logos and other materials you provide. I'll use them only for your project.

Ownership

Once your project is paid in full, the website design and content created for you belong to you, and your domain stays in your name. I may show your finished site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

Hosting and care plans

If I host or maintain your site, I'll make reasonable efforts to keep it online, secure and up to date. Hosting providers and third-party tools occasionally have outages that are out of my control.

Limitation of liability

I work hard to deliver great results, but I can't guarantee specific rankings, traffic or sales. To the extent allowed by law, my total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

Canceling a project

Either of us can end a project in writing. If you cancel after work has started, the upfront payment covers work completed to that point and isn't refundable.
